How to find an image

The site has a very good search facility which can be accessed by clicking on the search tab on the top menu bar. Generally I try and keep the search as simple as possible, so if I’m searching for a shot of Rolf Vrolijk, I would just enter Vrolijk in the keyword search. There are instructions to the left of the search box which go into more detail as to how to do a more advanced word search.

A note about the calendar search, if you are searching for images on the dates 21-22nd May you need to enter 21-23 May ie start date to end date + one day.

Further down the search page you will also see that you can modify your search to only include images of a certain orientation, ie portrait or landscape.
