Ian Roman has been involved with all aspects of sailing since an     early age. Ian grew up in England on the East Coast,  as a boy he sailed from the Walton Backwaters. On moving to university Ian started to race in the International 14 class, competing in the UK, Europe and North America. Ian has always been interested in photography and while visiting the British Americas Cup team in Auckland during 2002 he began to combine his two passions.
